The Morovis Titanes weathered an outstanding game by Yauco right fielder Ildefonso Bibian to topple the Corsos, 7-5. Bibian went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. Rafael Castrejón, the winning pitcher, improved to 12-9. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 11 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 0 and walking 2. The Titanes improve their record to 22-47 with the win over Yauco.

The Titanes benefited from an error in the top of the fifth inning. Morovis was leading 2-1 when Jorge Escobedo hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put Morovis in front, 4-1.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Escobedo said.
