Extra-Inning Win by Cafeteros Over Titanes
The Maricao Cafeteros topped the Morovis Titanes, 4-3, in Liga Betances action at Parque de los Cafeteros. The game was highlighted by the performance of Maricao pitcher Acasto Martín. Martín, now 9-12, was the winner. In 10 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 1, and allowing 3 runs. At 35-31, the Cafeteros claim second place in the Liga Betances Cordillera Oeste.

Maricao won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Rafael Castrejón on the mound for Morovis, third baseman Manuel Rosas hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Cafeteros fans to their feet.

"I'll be honest," said Martín. "I'm not sure I could've thrown another pitch."
