The Corozal Plataneros defeated the Humacao Grises, 7-6. Doing his part was first baseman Labán Reyes, who was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Corozal reliever Nicandro Naranjo got the win, raising his record to 4-3. Antenor Rosas was tagged with the loss. The Plataneros improve their record to 22-35 with the win over Humacao.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Reyes hit a splitter from Antenor Rosas for a run-scoring single. The Plataneros, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
