Núñez, Patrulleros Too Much for Tortugas
The bat of Ubaldo Núñez helped the San Sebastian Patrulleros top the Culebra Tortugas, 11-10. Núñez was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for San Sebastian. San Sebastian pitcher Felipe Salas got the win. He's now 3-1. Diego Arias was tagged with the loss. The 'W' lifts San Sebastian's record to 18-35.

Núñez had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 splitter from Diego Arias, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Patrulleros a 11-10 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Núñez.

"Guys always talk about winning games because of the 'little things,'" Núñez told the San Sebastian Observer. "Call me old fashioned, but I think baseball is about the big things -- like scoring more runs."
