In a low-scoring tilt between the Luquillo Soles and the Canovanas Chupacabras, Josué Talledo was the difference-maker. The Luquillo right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The first-place Soles are now 24-15, the Chupacabras 24-17.

Ananías Vázquez had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Luquillo. He came through with a 2-run single to put Luquillo in front, 3-0.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Talledo said after the game.
