The rain came, as predicted, but the Arroyo Bucaneros and Maunabo Jueyeros were able to complete their ballgame.

The Maunabo Jueyeros got a superb performance from first baseman Dacio López. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Arroyo. The Bucaneros won the game, 11-10. López went 4-5 with 4 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Ricardo Rosario locked down his 2nd save.

The game was at a stalemate until right fielder Víctor Hugo Reyes came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Maunabo pitcher Ignacio Villarreal, he hit a 2-2 curveball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Arroyo on top, 11-10.

Maunabo manager Julián Carrillo expressed his frustration after the game: "That many runs and it still wasn't enough?"

The loss makes Maunabo 11-28.
