The rain could not keep the home crowd from enjoying a good ballgame.

Behind the hitting of Miguel Zavala, the Vega Alta Maceteros clipped the Vega Baja Caneros, 5-4. Zavala went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Maceteros. Mateo Pérez earned the win for Vega Alta. He lasted 8 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits, while striking out 2. With the win, he raised his record to 5-6.
