The Louisville Colonels overcame a good performance by Cleveland second baseman Ed McKean to knock off Cleveland, 7-6, at League Park I. McKean went 4 for 5 with a triple and 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Chris Paff, who threw 168 pitches over 9 innings. The right-hander was charged with 6 runs on 14 hits. The win puts the Colonels at 23-14, while the Spiders drop to 13-24.
