Reds Top Spiders, 12-11
The Boston Reds did just enough to secure a victory over the Cleveland Spiders, 12-11, at League Park I. Nobody did more than first baseman Harry Taylor. Herb Goodall finished to wrap up his 1st save. The win has Boston at 3-1.

Boston used a timely hit from Jumbo Davis to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Reds ahead, 11-10. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Exciting game to play in," said Davis. "Getting the win makes it even better."
