Arroyo Wins to Narrow Series Deficit to 3-2
The Arroyo Bucaneros have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Isabela Gallitos, winning 4-1 at Estadio de los Gallitos today. Bucaneros right-hander Edelmiro Romero threw 9.0 innings of 7-hit ball. The win cuts the deficit facing the Bucaneros to 3-2 in the best-of-9 Campeonato Nacional Puertorriqueño.

Romero went the distance for Arroyo, allowing 1 run on 7 hits, while striking out 4.

"For the most part, I made good pitches when I needed to," said Romero.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Estadio de los Gallitos in Isabela.
