Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Draveurs
People outside the ballpark no doubt heard the roar of the crowd as the winning run crossed the plate.

José Rodríguez left his imprint on the 7-6 Gatineau win against the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens. Rodríguez, who is tied for 10th in the LBQ in runs scored with 79, went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and 2 walks. Picking up the win was Mark Wall. He went 10 innings, allowing 6 runs on 13 hits. The left--hander struck out 3 and walked 2.

The Draveurs procured the win, in large part because of right fielder Don Wellon. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said Trois-Rivieres manager Lloyd Coulter.

Gatineau, now 52-56, holds down third place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud.
