Orton Leads Draveurs to Win
In baseball, each game is unique. This one was no different.

Good production from left fielder Kelton Orton helped the Gatineau Draveurs topple the Quebec City Dons, 8-5. Orton was 4-4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Draveurs. The last-place Draveurs go to 50-56.

Had Don Wellon not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Wellon hit a 2-run single. That made the score 6-4, in favor of the Draveurs.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Orton told the Gatineau Gazette. "It's as simple as that."
