Bucherons Pull Even With 6-4 Victory
The Thurso Bucherons picked up a win at Bucherons Stadium, knocking off the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens, 6-4. Starting pitcher Patrick Chauvet played a key role in the triumph. Chauvet got the win, improving to 16-18. He allowed 8 hits and walked 4 over 9 innings. Chauvet allowed 4 runs. The Bucherons now own a record of 53-53.

Thurso took a 5-4 lead on Pete Field's 17th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Field hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Trois-Rivieres pitcher Rocky Aubin shaking his head.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Chauvet said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."
