Chupacabras Deal Cotorras 11-5 Loss
|
Estadio de las Cotorras was the site of the home opener for the Rio Grande Cotorras. The contest featured a prime matchup between Feliciano Muñoz of the visiting Canovanas Chupacabras and Senén Pérez of the Cotorras. The final score was 11-5, the Chupacabras getting the win. Félix Cruz turned in the best performance.
Rodrigo Santana, the top prospect , had a direct impact on the outcome. Santana contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Canovanas up, 4-0.
"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Cruz.
