Lachute got a valiant performance from pitcher Bill Colwill, but it wasn't enough to beat the Levis Fourches. Levis won the game, 7-6. Colwill threw 12.1 innings of 11-hit ball for the losing team. Levis reliever Gérard Monteil picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Bill Colwill was saddled with the loss. Levis is third in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Nord with a record of 40-46.

The Fourches relied on first baseman Mateo Faria for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"Our team showed some resilience," said Faria.
