In the 8-5 Sherbrooke win over Thurso, the impact of Edgar Giddens was substantial. Giddens, who finished 2nd in the LBQ in RBI with 82 in 1892, went 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Picking up the win was Don Dowd. He went 9 innings, allowing 5 runs on 11 hits. The left--hander struck out 3 and walked 9. The Privateers move to 47-34 with the win, while the Bucherons drop to 40-40.

Sherbrooke third baseman Declan Hamilton made an impact. He drilled a 2-run double in the bottom of the first. For the game, Hamilton was 1-3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
