The Quebec City Dons withstood an impressive performance by Levis center fielder Roberto Caballero to defeat the Fourches, 7-6, at Fourches Park. Caballero was 3 for 4 with 2 triples, while scoring 2 times. Tony Peacock got the win, improving to 6-15. He pitched 9 innings, giving up 12 hits and 6 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. With the win, the Dons have a record of 24-44.

Quebec City used a well-timed hit by Graham Paul to capture the win. The catcher socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dons ahead, 4-3. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Paul told the Quebec City Today.
