Privateers Mow Down Supercalenders, 9-1
|
Sherbrooke starter A.J. Reddin had a strong outing against the Lachute Supercalenders at Ballpark of Lachute. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 9-1 win. Reddin got the win, improving to 12-9. He allowed 6 hits and walked 0 over 9 innings. Reddin allowed 1 run. Sherbrooke currently is in first place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Nord at 39-26.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Ballpark of Lachute crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
Privateers manager Víctor Manuel Leija had nothing but praise for his players after an impressive win, calling the result one of the team's best performances of the season. "Everything just came together on our end," he said. "I didn't need to do too much."
