Hilton Leads Bucherons to Win
The Thurso Bucherons dumped the Quebec City Dons, 6-2, in large part due to catcher Kieran Hilton. On the day, Hilton was 4 for 4 with 4 singles and was hit by a pitch. He scored 2 times and drove in 2 for the Bucherons. Thurso pitcher Scott Conroy got the win. He's now 11-11. Rowan Guerin was tagged with the loss. Thurso occupies third place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud at 31-32.

The Bucherons got a gift in the top of the sixth inning, when they were leading 4-2. With two out and the bases loaded, Pete Field reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 5-2, Thurso.

"We'll hit the hot tub tonight in good spirits tonight," said Hilton.
