Laval got a terrific game from shortstop Curtis Ivany. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Gatineau, 10-8. Ivany was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The Draveurs improved to 26-36.

Don Wellon aided the Gatineau cause with a run-scoring double in the top of the second. For the game, the right fielder went 1-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2.
