The Levis Fourches scored a tight 4-3 win versus the Thurso Bucherons at Fourches Park. Levis pitcher J.T. Rigg held his own in the contest. Levis, now 24-31, holds down third place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Nord.

Had Mateo Faria not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Faria hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 4-3, in favor of the Fourches.

"We'll put that win in the can," said Faria, "and go after the next one."
