Privateers Suffer 8-2 Setback
Lachute and Sherbrooke got after it at Privateers Park.

The Lachute Supercalenders defeated the Sherbrooke Privateers, 8-2, at Privateers Park today. Leading the charge for Lachute was left fielder Waldo Auclair. He was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Carter Pattullo earned the win to go to 7-4. He allowed 2 runs on 11 hits, with 2 walks and 1 strikeout in 9 innings of work.

Lachute took advantage of an error in the top of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Adalberto Rodríguez hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Lachute in front, 2-1.

"Scoring runs is scoring runs," said Lachute skipper Judson Brereton. "It's important to have different ways to do it."

The first-place Supercalenders have a record of 18-13.
