Bucherons Rally For Late Win Over Dons
The Thurso Bucherons defeated the Quebec City Dons, 6-2, in Ligue de Baseball du Québec action at Dons Ballpark. Thurso pitcher Wyatt Budgell had a standout performance. Budgell got the win, improving to 4-4. He allowed 9 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. Budgell allowed 2 runs. At 14-15, the Bucherons claim last place in the Ligue de Baseball du Québec Division Sud.

Thurso used the timely hitting of Kieran Hilton to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Bucherons on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Glad to go home with a win," said Budgell.
