Fourches Walk It Off for 9th Win of Season
The Levis Fourches overcame a good performance by Gatineau second baseman Harold Daig to knock off Gatineau, 7-6, at Fourches Park. Daig went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 times. Levis reliever Gérard Monteil picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Mark Wall was saddled with the loss. Even with the win, the Fourches have a dismal 9-18 record.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Draveurs allowed the Fourches to score the winning run.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Fourches manager Gavin Dupuis. "This one was nice to get."
