Trifluviens Need Extra Innings to Top Privateers, 9-7
The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.

The Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens saddled the Sherbrooke Privateers with a loss at Trois-Rivieres Stadium. The final score was 9-7. Ed Neale was 4 for 6, including 3 singles and 1 home run. The Trois-Rivieres center fielder scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Brett Fennell earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record is now 1-0.

Neale dealt the big blow in the bottom of the 13th. That's when he launched a 2-run home run off Sherbrooke pitcher Monte Lindsay to win it for the Trifluviens.

"It's great when the crowd is energized," Neale said.

The loss has the Privateers at 5-6.
