Thessalon needed the clutch hitting of Eric Hollinger to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the North Stars on top, 3-2. For the game, Hollinger had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Tommy is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Thessalon manager Arthur Irwin.
