Bonebreakers Walk It Off for 50th Win of Season
The Markham Wheelwrights and Pickering Bonebreakers delighted fans at Bonebreakers Field.

Pickering right fielder Brian Tait played a vital role in his team's 9-8 triumph over Markham. He was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2 for Pickering. Their 50-41 record puts the Bonebreakers first in the Ontario Baseball Association Southern Division.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Wheelwrights allowed the Bonebreakers to score the winning run.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Behan said.
