The Thessalon North Stars defeated the Hamilton Hammers, 10-8. Doing his part was first baseman Paxton Picard, who was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs. Bill Ewing was credited with the save for Thessalon, his 1st of the season. The North Stars saw their win-loss record go to 39-48. At the same time, the Hammers fell to 47-40.

With two out in the bottom of the eighth, Jacobo Rodríguez had a game-changing hit. The North Stars left fielder slammed a 2-run single off Ed Kirkham, making the score 10-8, Thessalon.
