The home crowd had a good time watching the Markham Wheelwrights and Nipissing Air Marshals get after it.

Nipissing turned a good effort from starter Chris Hallamore into a win over the Markham Wheelwrights at Air Marshals Stadium. The final score was 7-1. Hallamore went 9 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 1. His record improves to 16-13.

The Nipissing dugout showed signs of unrest at times. But the Air Marshals put this one in the win column with some good pitching and some timely hitting at critical moments.
