Air Marshals Earn 4-3 Win Versus Rapids
The Nipissing Air Marshals did just enough to sneak past the Sault Ste. Marie Rapids, 4-3, at Air Marshals Stadium. Nipissing right fielder Facundo Figueroa, in particular, had a standout performance. Chris Hallamore, the winning pitcher, improved to 10-9. He pitched 10 innings, giving up 10 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 1 and walking 1. Nipissing occupies last place in the Ontario Baseball Association Northern Division at 27-29.

In the bottom of the tenth, John Anderson had a chance to deal the knockout blow. And he did, punching a run-scoring single to left-center off Sault Ste. Marie pitcher Charlie Stuckless.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Radamés Burgos.
