Both teams had their chances, but the Sudbury Meteors eventually prevailed.

Sudbury right-hander Matt Tulk pitched his team to victory over the Pickering Bonebreakers at Meteors Park. The final score was 7-6. Tulk went the distance for Sudbury. He gave up 6 runs on 9 hits.

Tulk contributed in the bottom of the sixth. With a runner on 1st, he hit a run-scoring single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Sudbury get the win.

"It feels good to get this one," Tulk told the Sudbury Observer.

The second-place Meteors are now 27-24, the Bonebreakers 25-27.
