Sault Ste. Marie picked up a win at North Stars Park, bumping off the Thessalon North Stars, 3-2. Pitcher Garrett Colgan was a major reason the Rapids emerged victorious. After today's action, Sault Ste. Marie sits at 26-18; Thessalon slips to 21-22.

Sault Ste. Marie used the clutch hitting of Josh Spottswood to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Rapids the lead, 3-2. For the game, Spottswood had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
