The Brampton Florists beat the Sault Ste. Marie Rapids by a score of 10-6. Brampton left fielder Bruce Winchester deserved the lion's share of the credit. Winchester slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 6 for the Florists. Jordan Turnbull picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-3. He struck out 1 in 9 innings. The win puts Brampton at 9-9.

With two out in the bottom of the third, Gary Perron put Brampton in front, 3-1, with a 2-run single. The Florists went on to win the ballgame.

"We came out aggressive," said Florists manager Ken Roy. "We came out swinging the bats."
