Pickering Tops Sherbrooke Again, 7-5
Riding the 3-hit performance of left fielder Hércules Parra, the Pickering Bonebreakers got a road win against the Sherbrooke Privateers, 7-5, in Game 2 of the National Championship of Canada today. Parra went 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk for the Bonebreakers, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 0.

Rich Lesage hit a 2-run triple off Jim Schurman in the top of the seventh, which put the Bonebreakers in front, 6-4. Lesage had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"I try to take on every game as if it is the most important of the season, so I don't feel like anything's different now," Parra said after the game.

The next game is set to be played for Saturday, September 4th , 1897 at Bonebreakers Field in Pickering.
